IPON is launching a new Innovation Fellowship program and inviting proposals from Ontario-based universities to this Request for Proposal (RFP).

A key part of IPON’s mandate is to strengthen commercialization outcomes for research in Ontario by building intellectual property (IP) and commercialization capacity within postsecondary education (PSE) and research institutions. To advance this goal, IPON has been supporting select colleges and universities through its commercialization pilot program, launched in 2023.

As part of this RFP, IPON is looking for Ontario-based universities currently offering an immersive entrepreneurship and IP education experience on campus for qualifying students and faculty interested in commercializing a research-driven innovation, process or invention.
